End of Concentrations!

Its so weird that we are finally done with our concentrations! I think that the art show was a huge success! so many people came and everyone's stuff looked amazing all put together. we really are in the home stretch of the year! graduation and summer are so close. i am also supaaah excited for the service project! working in groups (and on something other that concentrations) will be such a nice change of pace! yay!

April #2

i was going to post pictures of what i have so far for this month...but i hate it so im restarting. cool. i dont know how i am going to make two new pieces in time for friday, but oh well. i spent some time looking at all my stuff together and i think i need to do more with photo transfers. i only have one and it sticks out like a sore thumb. also i am trying this month to really remember the principles of design. OH and i really want to incorporate newspaper into one...not for any real reason other than i think it would be cool...so thats as far as i am so far. but wow fourth quarter! yay graduating, except i still need to pick a college...ugh.

APRIL

i am SO excited to almost be done with concentration checks! i feel like after the April concentration check we will be SO close to the end of the year and graduating! yayay!

March concentration

i started my march concentration pieces...i accidentally burned the board and it bubbled up so that kind of stood in the way of my plans so i will have to see how that turns out and then for the other piece i want to do another photo transfer because i really like the way that my Feb. piece came out. i haven't picked what photo i want to do, but i think i need to do more to tie that into the whole thing.

WOW

i think it is safe to say that i am OUT of ideas for my concentration.
i have only done one piece for feb so far and am getting a little stressed out. i started work on the second piece with photo transfers and it was a big FAIL but i am going to try again and hopefully everything will work out!
i hate snow and am really excited because i leave for mexico this week...hopefully i will generate some ideas while im gone!

Feb...pictures

wow i cant believe the month is half over! i am not even close to halfway on my concentration pieces...i think i want to play with photo transfers and bringing that into my work this month. the family has been looking through a lot of family pictures lately gathering them for senior activities and my family just made me a scrap book and all wrote me letters about going to college so im in a fat family love mood...maybe a piece with me and my brothers? who knowssss....
